What gym management software should actually cover
A gym is not one workflow. It is at least six running at once: selling memberships, collecting money, controlling who gets in, keeping members engaged, paying staff, and knowing whether the business made a profit. Most software handles the first two well and treats the rest as somebody else’s problem - which is why so many gyms still run a membership app, a separate billing tool, a biometric device with its own software, a WhatsApp phone, an Excel payroll sheet and a notebook at the supplement counter.

Three apps and a guest mode, one platform
Torzil is not a back-office tool with an app bolted on. It ships as four connected experiences sharing one database:
- Admin Portal (Torzil Web) - the command centre for owners, managers, trainers and front-desk staff. How a normal day runs on Torzil
- Morning. The Notification Panel’s daily digest lists expiring memberships, overdue invoices, enquiry follow-ups, birthdays and pause requests. The manager approves two pause requests; the pause days are credited back automatically.
- Doors open. Members check in by fingerprint, face or QR. A member whose plan expired yesterday is blocked at the device, so the renewal conversation happens at the desk rather than three weeks later.
- Mid-morning. A walk-in enquiry is logged with an interest level and a follow-up date and assigned to a staff member. A WhatsApp template goes out automatically.
- Afternoon. Renewals due this week receive a WhatsApp reminder with a payment link. Several members renew in the app through UPI; invoices with GST breakups are generated and recorded against the right branch.
- Evening. The supplement counter sells through the POS with barcode scanning; stock drops, and a low-stock alert queues a vendor purchase order.
- Month end. Payroll is calculated from staff attendance, shift and week-off policies, leave and trainer commissions, then frozen. The owner exports the GST and payments reports for the CA and checks branch-level net profit.
Nothing in that day required a spreadsheet.

How to evaluate Torzil against alternatives

Is Torzil the best gym management software?
